ChatThread Terms of Service
Dear user, welcome to ChatThread products and services! Before using ChatThread ("we"), please read this ChatThread User Agreement (the "Agreement") together with the related policies, rules and guidelines. When you click agree, check a box or actually use the Service, you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all terms. If you disagree with any provision or cannot accurately understand our interpretation, please stop using the Service immediately. For details on how we handle personal data, review the ChatThread Privacy Policy at https://chatthread.top/privacy.
1. Service Content
1.1 Our products and services include products delivered via webpages, applications (possibly in different versions), mini programs, software development kits (SDKs) for third-party websites and applications, application programming interfaces (APIs) and other innovative forms that may arise with technological development. These offerings include but are not limited to platforms whose core functionality is generative AI services (collectively, "ChatThread" or the "Service").
1.2 The generative AI products and services we provide are based on the ChatThread Chat large language model. The model relies on deep neural network algorithms and is developed through large-scale self-supervised pre-training and targeted optimization. It encodes user Inputs (including text, images and files) and predicts the next token, enabling text generation, conversation and other capabilities. Within ChatThread, the model processes user Inputs ("Inputs") and produces corresponding content as responses ("Outputs" or "Generated Content"), including text, tables and code. Users may evaluate Outputs, such as by upvoting or downvoting, to share feedback on ChatThread responses.
1.3 As generative AI technology, models and products iterate and as laws and regulations change, we may add, upgrade, change, suspend or terminate services, or adjust the Service's technology, delivery mode or performance, and we may conduct internal or external testing for new functionality.
1.4 We will adopt measures that are not lower than prevailing industry practices to safeguard network security and stable operations, and will continuously improve technology to enhance your experience. If you have questions or feedback, contact us via Section 9.
2. Account Management
2.1 The Service is primarily intended for adults. If you are under 18, read this Agreement with a legal guardian and use the Service only with the guardian's consent. ChatThread understands the importance of protecting minors and will adopt measures required by laws and mainstream practices. Guardians should guide and supervise minors to build healthy online habits and avoid overreliance or addiction.
2.2 Before using the Service, you must register an account with a mobile number or third-party account, provide true, accurate, lawful and valid information, and confirm your agreement to this Agreement and related rules and policies. If the information you submit is inaccurate, untrue, irregular or we have reason to suspect it is erroneous, false or unlawful, we may refuse to provide related functions, and you may be unable to use the software or certain features may be limited. Your account is the credential for accessing the Service and may not be transferred, gifted or inherited.
2.3 When registering and using an account, you promise and warrant: (1) you bear full responsibility for the authenticity, legality and validity of registration information and update it promptly; you must not register or use the Service in another's name; (2) you properly safeguard the account and password and assume legal responsibility for all actions under the account; (3) you must not maliciously register accounts, including frequent or bulk registrations; (4) you must not transfer, lend, lease or otherwise provide the account to others in any form.
2.4 If you lose the account, forget the password or disclose verification codes, you may promptly file a claim to recover it. Please safeguard the account, password and verification codes and sign out securely after use. You bear responsibility for losses caused by account or password leaks. If you discover any unauthorized use, notify us immediately and we will cooperate in handling it.
2.5 If you request account cancellation and we approve it, we will cancel your registration and end the contractual relationship. After cancellation we may: (1) retain registration data and prior activity as required by laws and regulations; (2) exercise rights under this Agreement for violations that occurred before cancellation.
3. Acceptable Use
